 Teacher  Wes Kalman

Lower/Upper Primary English and Humanities teacher.

Master Degree in Education from West Chester University in Pennsylvania, USA. He is also specialized in Elementary School and Secondary School Counseling. Bachelor Degree in Philosophy from Temple University.

 Wesley Kalman was born and raised in a suburb of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in the United States.  While in High School, he had a particular interest for film and media arts.  He won two coveted awards for his role in making short films as well as being the director and producer of a weekly televised high school news program.   He continued to pursue film and media arts at Temple University in Philadelphia, but discovered a greater interest in Philosophy.  He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Liberal Arts in 2007.  He was a very successful competitor in Taekwondo in the Northeast Ivy League while at Temple University and continues to practice kickboxing and other martial arts.  He completed a Master’s degree in Education in 2010 and received a professional certification as a school counsellor.  Wesley has been working with children in various roles since he was 19 years old and he has spent the last four years teaching and counselling students who have developmental disabilities, mental health diagnosis, or have suffered from abuse and neglect.  Wesley is looking forward to continuing his career in Education at the British International School of Northern Thailand and is excited to be working in Thailand.
