Hello, my name is Titus, and I am the secondary math’s teacher at the British International School of Northern Thailand.

I enjoy teaching math’s because I like to help my students to discover the beauty of mathematics. When you learn mathematics you are mastering a new language. It helps you to recognize patterns and order in the world around you and to describe these more accurately.

The biggest challenge in learning mathematics is not the mathematics itself, but having the confidence in your ability to master the subject. My goal is to convince you that mathematics is not as difficult as you may think it is. But you must have an open mind and be willing to take the time and make the effort to understand the subject.

I have a B Sc Honors from the University of the North-West, South Africa, and a Post-graduate Certificate in Education (Secondary Mathematics) with distinction from the University of South Africa.

Previously I taught Art, English literature and ESL at private girls’ high school in Tokyo, Japan, for five years, and ESL for one year at a boys’ middle school in Seoul, South Korea.

Over the years I have visited Thailand many times and have always wanted to stay longer. The British International School of Northern Thailand in Lampang has given me this opportunity. It is an excellent school with keen learners and dedicated teachers. It offers an internationally recognized program, and the class sizes are small, making it possible for the students to realize their full potential.

Lampang is also the pottery center of Thailand and since ceramics is my hobby, I am very grateful to teach at such a good school in this part of the country!
